Olive oil is a source of good health and longevity. Olives and olive oil are rich in monounsaturated fatty acids. Thus, olive oil increases the level of good cholesterol and reduces the level of bad cholesterol, i.e. The oil maintains normal (healthy) cholesterol levels. In addition, the oil has a mild laxative and choleretic effect, eliminates heartburn and irritation of the gastric mucosa, and is ideal for the treatment of peptic ulcers.

Olive oil ingredients: chlorophyll, carotene, lecithin (a natural antioxidant that affects the burning of fat, sugar and protein), polyphenols (antioxidants), and vitamins. The oil has the greatest effect on the heart and blood vessels, due to its high content of monounsaturated fatty acids. Thus, it protects the heart, blood vessels, and reduces blood pressure. In addition, the oil strengthens bone tissue, relieves joint pain and has anti-rheumatic properties.

Studies have shown that patients with cardiovascular disease who took 25 ml (2 teaspoons) of olive oil for a week began to feel significantly better. Harmful substances were neutralized in their bodies, intestinal function improved, and bad cholesterol levels decreased.

Comments on “Colon Cleanse with Olive Oil”

Thank you very much for the useful information. I agree with you that olive oil is very healthy. Thank you for describing how to cleanse your colon. I believe that taking care of your health should start with cleansing your intestines. Thank you.

Since ancient times, oils from various plant crops have been used by people as effective medicines. One of the most popular and proven remedies both in ancient times and now is olive oil.

This is truly a real storehouse of useful substances, vitamins, amino acids. Even in the works of the great sages Avicenna and Galen it was said that olive oil is one of the most effective medicines.

Cleansing the body with olive oil is the topic of our conversation today. First, let's take a closer look at the healing properties of olive oil.

9 step cleansing routine

In the very morning, literally after visiting the toilet and bathroom, you should apply a heating pad to the area of the right hypochondrium (where the liver is located) for 15–20 minutes. The temperature should be kept as close as possible to 39 – 42 degrees. Further:

  1. At 9:00 – drink 0.5 glasses of apple juice and have a light breakfast. Preference should be given to fresh vegetables and fruits, without sugar, with a small amount of honey. Instead of tea - just hot water with lemon juice (add to taste).
  2. At 11:00 – drink another 0.5 glass of apple juice.
  3. At 14:00 - drink a strong infusion of peppermint, it acts as an antispasmodic. To prepare this infusion, pour boiling water over 2 teaspoons of mint, infuse as usual tea, and before drinking, strain through several layers of gauze. Drink not in one gulp, but over the course of 1 hour, taking several sips every 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. At 21:00 – apply the heating pad again (keep it on as long as you take olive oil and lemon juice). During this period, it is important to maintain absolute calm, so it is better to stop watching TV, using a smartphone and anything else that may distract you.
  5. Starting from 21:00, you need to drink 1 tablespoon of olive oil every 10 - 15 minutes, washing it down with 1 tablespoon of lemon. In total, you need to consume 100 milliliters of olive oil in this way.
  6. After the procedure, go to bed immediately.
  7. The next day - in the morning, do 2 enemas of 2 liters each. Throughout the day, eat only fresh vegetables and non-acidic fruits.
  8. On the 3rd day, 1 enema is also given in the morning, food is vegetable salads and cereals with olive oil (necessarily without butter).
  9. Starting from the 4th day – adherence to the usual diet. It is recommended to adhere to a gentle diet until the end of the week; it is advisable to eat boiled rice every day.

The first cleanse is the most difficult for the liver. It can be accompanied by fever and diarrhea, and many experience a constant feeling of nausea. All this is the consequences of active removal of toxins and an increased volume of bile entering the stomach.

The benefits and medicinal properties of olive oil

Olives contain almost all the elements necessary for human health - amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins (A, E, D).

Amino acids help the body fight diabetes and increase tissue sensitivity to insulin. Monoacids prevent the development of blood clots and prevent the formation of tumors. Calcium will make your bones strong and your cartilage elastic.

Olive oil will be much more beneficial if taken on an empty stomach. In addition to its medicinal and preventive effects, such as preventing the appearance of ulcers and gastritis, helping in the absorption of salts and fats, it also has unique properties that are used to cleanse the entire body as a whole.

How to drink olive oil correctly

  • Olive oil will provide the greatest benefit to the body if consumed on an empty stomach.
  • It helps well if you have high stomach acidity, ulcers and gastritis.
  • Olive oil does a good job of adjusting the absorption of salts and fats by the body.
  • Low-saturated acids reduce the risk of developing existing tumors and prevent the appearance of new tumor formations.
  • Drinking olive oil on an empty stomach has a mild laxative effect and can be used to lightly cleanse the entire body.

Contraindications

Not everyone can withstand such a drastic effect on the body.

Therefore, there are categories of patients for whom it is undesirable to cleanse the liver with olive oil and lemon juice:

  • psoriasis may worsen after stimulation of bile excretion;
  • It is undesirable to carry out the procedure during ulcers and gastritis. Acidity increases, exacerbation occurs;
  • chronic gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, pancreatitis, infectious processes. The likelihood of blockage of the bile ducts with stones increases. As a result, hepatic colic occurs and the functioning of the pancreas is disrupted;
  • The procedure is not recommended for patients under 12 years of age and pregnant women.

Liver cleanse with olive oil

The procedure for cleansing the liver with olive oil is quite popular today among people of different ages. Please remember that not properly cleansing your body can be harmful to your health.

Therefore, in order to protect yourself and ensure the effectiveness of the procedure, you should consult with your doctor and find out the basic recommendations for cleansing the body with olive oil.

Prepare your body for cleansing! You cannot begin the procedure without “setting up” the organs and tissues in advance. For 3–7 days you should follow a special diet:

  • - exclude fatty foods from food;
  • - eat as many vegetables as possible;
  • - drink plenty of fluids (purified mineral water);
  • - cleanse the intestines with an enema.

Be sure to prepare in advance everything you need for the procedure, namely a glass of olive oil and lemon juice, 2 tablespoons, a heating pad, water for drinking, several painkillers (in case of pain in the right side).

Now let's move on to the procedure itself:

  • breakfast should be light;
  • calm down and “tune in” to the upcoming procedure;
  • by lunchtime you can start cleaning;
  • It is important to maintain equal temperatures between liquids - heat the oil and juice to body temperature;
  • lie on your side, place a hot heating pad in the liver area, cover yourself;
  • quickly drink a tablespoon of oil and then juice. If nausea occurs, drink plenty of mineral water. So, at intervals of 15 minutes, you should drink all the prepared liquid;
  • Monitor the temperature of the water in the heating pad - you need to keep it hot.

This method of cleansing the liver with olive oil gives a mild laxative effect, which removes all waste and toxins.

On the second day of the cleanse, you should gradually return to your normal diet. Experts advise continuing the vegetable diet for some time, drinking as much liquid as possible - purified water or green tea without sugar. Such a gradual transition will tone the body and protect it from stress and changes.

Features of preparation

During preparation and cleaning itself, it is recommended to drink fresh juices.

Cleansing the liver with lemon and olive oil is a fairly simple and inexpensive procedure. However, to feel more comfortable, you need to prepare your body in advance, because otherwise you may experience discomfort.

This method is quite gentle; none of the components causes spasms or sudden contractions of the intestines. Perhaps the most important obstacle for many will be forcing themselves to drink liquid oil.

It is recommended that a week before the start of the cleansing procedure, you do not eat foods that are difficult for the stomach and completely switch to plant foods. Vegetables, fruits, cereals and natural juices are recommended. It is better to eat in moderation, do not overeat.

Preparation instructions:

  • a week before the procedure, switch to herbal products (at least three days);
  • do not drink alcoholic beverages 7 days before cleansing and the same amount after it;
  • within a few days, start taking warm baths with any medicinal herbs;
  • Physical activity is definitely necessary, especially if a person spends most of the day in a static position;
  • Before starting the procedure, it is imperative to cleanse the intestines using enemas and laxatives.

For people with a strong character, fasting or significant restriction in food intake is recommended. Such preparation will be especially useful.

If there are helminths, then they must be removed and the body must be given a certain time to recover. It will be individual for each person, so it is better to consult with your doctor on this matter.

An enema is a prerequisite. It should be taken in the evening before bed. Despite the unpleasant sensations, this measure is necessary, because otherwise the release of bile from feces will be complicated and this will poison the body (through active absorption).

Important. If you have a problem with regular bowel movements, you should start taking laxatives a few days before using enemas.

Colon cleansing with flaxseed oil

Treatment with this method involves several variations of the use of flaxseed oil.

  1. Use 2 tbsp. l. flaxseed oil in the morning before meals, washed down with water. The effect occurs within half an hour.
  1. Another method is to use flax seeds and flaxseed oil. To prepare the cleansing mixture, you need to take a glass of the main ingredient and half a glass of crushed flax seeds. Mix the ingredients, pour into a dark container and let it brew for 7-10 days, stirring occasionally. After the mixture of seeds and flaxseed oil is ready, it should be consumed for 2-3 weeks, 1 spoon three times a day before meals. During this period, it is necessary to adhere to a plant-based diet, try to limit the consumption of flour, sweets, and alcohol. This mixture of seeds and flaxseed oil will help improve digestion and eliminate heartburn attacks. However, if the patient has pancreatitis, problems with the liver and gall bladder, then this method is contraindicated. Flaxseed oil and seeds help rid the body of harmful and poisonous toxins, improve the bowel movement process, and prevent the development of cancerous tumors.

No less widespread is sorbitol, which helps quickly and efficiently eliminate the negative consequences of a “dirty” liver.

Apple juice and olive oil cleanse

Preliminarily spend three fasting days. On the day of the cleanse, drink apple juice and plenty of pure spring water. In the evening, take all the olive oil and warm the liver with a heating pad or a warm bath.

For the procedure you will need:

  • Freshly squeezed natural apple juice – 1.5 liters;
  • Unrefined olive oil - 0.5 cups.

As a result of the procedure, the liver will release bile, which will help cleanse it of toxins.

Apple juice to cleanse the liver can only be used by those who do not have problems with the gastrointestinal tract.

Liver cleansing with sorbitol

To know how to cleanse the liver with sorbitol, you should first find out what this substance is. This is a powder that is used as a sweetener in many dietary products. It cannot be said that the use of this powder promotes weight loss, but to prevent the negative effects of regular sugar, its use is justified.

The main advantage of the sorbitol liver cleansing method is its positive effect on the digestive system, which manifests itself in ridding the body of toxins and a slight laxative effect.

Sorbitol cleanses not only the liver, but also the kidneys, gallbladder and large intestine.

To carry out the procedure you will need a minimum of additional accessories. Cleansing the liver with sorbitol requires the presence of:

  • the drug itself;
  • heating pads (preferably electric, as it allows you to retain heat longer);
  • warm boiled water.

The cleaning process itself is carried out according to the following scheme:

  • 2 - 3 tablespoons of powder are dissolved in warm water and drunk in slow sips;
  • lie on the left side, placing a warm heating pad under the area where the organ is located. It is forbidden to move, stand up or move;
  • after 2 hours the urge to go to the toilet appears. The escaping masses will have an unpleasant odor and a greenish tint. This is bile with residues of waste and toxins;
  • It is not recommended to leave the house immediately after visiting the toilet, as repeated urges are possible.

The use of sorbitol allows not only to cleanse sludged cells, but also to gain lightness throughout the body and normalize intestinal function.

The process itself consists of drinking a spoonful of oil 2 hours before meals, followed by an equal amount of lemon juice.

The uniqueness and effectiveness of this recipe lies in the ability of lemon to increase the acidity of the gastric environment, which leads to intestinal contractions.

This helps stimulate the process of bile production. In just five days of such a diet, a person will be able to feel positive changes that will manifest themselves in overall improvements in well-being and cleansing of the liver from toxins.

Cleaning with magnesium and olive oil

For the procedure you will need:

  • Magnesia or magnesium sulfate (powder) – 20 g;
  • Boiled water – 70 ml;
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp.

Before cleaning, you should follow a weekly diet of raw and boiled vegetables and fruits. During this time, apply a heating pad daily for half an hour under the right rib to open the ducts. Drink at least 2 liters of water every day.

On the day of the procedure, dissolve the powder in water at room temperature. Take the solution and lie on your side on a heating pad for 2 hours. Then drink olive oil.

Magnesia is a good laxative, which will cleanse the bile ducts and liver.

Cleansing with sunflower oil

Cleansing with sunflower oil will help rid the body of old toxins, harmful elements, pathogens and bacteria. To do this, you need to take 1 tbsp in your mouth. l. oil, and distribute it throughout the mouth without swallowing. Keep sunflower oil in your mouth for half an hour.
